Writes Disney in its comments (PDF):
[To] the extent the Commission considers such a content protection mechanism, it should also consider whether to extend that mechanism to all music distribution platforms, including satellite digital audio radio service, the Internet and broadcast radio service.
Look at http://www.pure-digital.com. It's a very ugly reciever, kids might love it, but the SD memory card and all the other stuff just works fine, Hotze
Permalink to CommentWhen we played soccer as kids the ball went into the neighbors yards. On the right, it was ok to retreive the ball, but on the left, each step into the yard, was treated like a home invasion.
Analog copyright is like the right neighbor while digital is behaving like one on the left. The sad part is using something like Curly the Stooges "Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk" would probably cost more than they earned in their lifetimes, and don't think it's easy trying to find or contact the copyright holders. We need statutory licences!
