About this weblog
Here we'll explore the nexus of legal rulings, Capitol Hill
policy-making, technical standards development, and technological
innovation that creates -- and will recreate -- the networked world as we
know it. Among the topics we'll touch on: intellectual property
conflicts, technical architecture and innovation, the evolution of
copyright, private vs. public interests in Net policy-making, lobbying
and the law, and more.

For those that would prefer a smaller download, get the audio-only Ogg Vorbis file:
http://mininova.org/tor/31015
It was a lot smaller when resampled and encoded with speex, but I'm sure that would have caused a lot of people grief getting it to play back. And what's a hundred megs or so these days?
You'll be missing some great moments in the debate by foregoing the video, but if you listen carefully you can hear the scorn in the voices of those representing freedom for those who would chain us down with "Digital Restrictions Management" (1st rule of debate, control the vocabulary). The popping noise you hear near the end is the sound of Big Media imploding under the weight of it's own flummery...
Sorry, is my bias showing? Let me tuck that away.

Am I the only one unable to get this .torrent working? I've been trying all day, and I'm unable to connect to any peers. But even then, there should still be SOME downloading going on. Which there isn't. :-/
