So a little surface skimming tells me that www.fairuseday.com is an alias, the root host is at fairuseday.com. That domain was blind-registered through godaddy (domainsbyproxy.com). However, we find that their DNS is coming through NEARLYFREESPEECH.NET, also listed on the site as their "host." This is in turn registered to one Jeff Wheelhouse of The Woodlands, TX. We find (from Google) that this person is a contributor to FreeBSD and there's a nonzero chance that this is the same Jeff Wheelhouse who used to work at Internet Direct, a host once abused by the infamous spammers Canter and Siegel. Anyone who thinks the Cartel can't do at least this level of 'research' is fooling themselves. The question I have is: why are FUD going to such lengths to cloak themselves?

Fairuseday.com has nothing to hide, all of that stuff is just to prevent being spammed unnecessarily through whois searches and what not. Feel free to come and chat with us on irc.freenode.net in #fairuseday if you have anymore questions

For heavens sake, our most basic fair use rights are under attack and all you can think to do is a whois query? While you are playing the home edition of Supergeek PI, the simple right to record a TV show for later viewing may go up in a puff of smoke. Have some perspective, sheeesh!
