What Good Are Blogs Anyway?
Posted by Alan Wexelblat
The self-proclaimed "liberal blogosphere" is uniting to "drop cash" for hurricane relief.
Funds will be transferred en bloc to the Red Cross. As with any new organization there are questions as to its legitimacy. Possibly the best part of this are the (apparently) raw and unfiltered commentary flying off the bottom of the page in which this legitimacy is questioned and defended.
This, in my opinion, is what blogs do best - connect people directly and in a living fashion to issues and information of direct personal concern. Good journalism should do that, too, but the blog technology adds a participatory layer.

Hi, just came across your blog. I enjoyed it ...most informative.
I've been reviewing other legal blogs and I book marking the standouts.
Well, needless to say, I have bookmarked your blawg.
I also write a blawg. Actually, it's more of a collection of Internet Tech tips/observations to inform legal web site owners how to achieve improved search engine standings while avoiding the many Internet scams.
My blawg legal advice library site. is still very much a work in progress. My legal directory San Diego attorneys site is the flagship of our 15 legal directory sites that cover California, Texas and Las Vegas.
Please visit and check them out if you have the time

THIS IS THE WEXELBLAT OF ALL WEXELBLATS.
Not only that, but three hundred chemical and industrial polluters were on the right bank of the Delta, in "Cancer Alley," where Katrina hit.
15 oil processing hubs vanished. Like, nobody knows where they are. Where did all their chemicals go? Did they just vanish too?

I think they should add another 10 billion in the Federal relief package and build more refineries here in America. After all the whole nation is feeling the gas prices go up as a result of Katrina. The President should have been quicker to act as well as the rest of our always fast acting and honest Governments around the world lol. I remember when gas was 89 cents a gallon and for 10 bucks you could get almost 11 gallons I put 10 bucks into today and got 3 gallons. I am only 27 years old so I am not talking about 1960, 70, or even 80 1990 just almost 8 9 years ago.
